Make sure you selected the right team and association. Also, double-check your weight/age/belt categories.
2) DEADLINE FOR ANY CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS.
To help the event run ON-TIME and smoothly for all, we DO NOT make ANY CHANGES past the deadlines for changes. No exceptions.
You have until the end of the day on the Tuesday before the event to make changes or cancel your registration and receive a credit coupon for any subsequent event.
The participants must make any changes or cancellations by logging in to Smoothcomp. Please take a look at the link below for instructions.

ADULTS
Adults can always compete in a weight category above their weight, or if you are registered at Masters 2, you can compete at Masters 1 or Adults. If you registered at Masters 1 or 2, you could compete in the Adult division.
Adults CAN only compete in a belt category the same as their own.
The same rules apply for weight or age category changes in No-Gi, or you can compete at a level above your own. (for, i.e., intermediate competing at advance...)
KIDS AND TEENS
- We only suggest moving to one division up in the weight (at parents'/coach's discretion) for kids and teens.
- For a kid to compete in a belt division above their own (i.e., grey belt competing with the yellow belts), please email us at [email protected] NO LATER THAN TUESDAY.
- The same rules apply for weight or age category changes in No-Gi, or you can compete at a level above your own. (for, i.e., intermediate competing at advance...). You don't need to email us. Parents/Coaches can change the registration directly through your Smoothcomp account.
NO CHANGES ARE ALLOWED PAST THE 'ATHLETE CORRECTION DEADLINE' AND ON THE EVENT'S DAY.
UNDERSTAND THE CREDIT COUPON
If you register to compete, and before the 'Athlete Correction Deadline,' you decide to withdraw, you must log in to your Smoothcomp account and cancel your registration.
The system will generate a personalized coupon that you can apply towards any Gaman future event.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If an athlete doesn't make weight, they will be DQ'ed. A coupon credit will be issued so the athlete can try again to compete at no cost in any future Gaman event.
• Matches may start 30-45 minutes in advance. Athletes should be in the warm-up area at least 40-60 minutes before the time assigned for their division on the schedule.
• It is mandatory to have an official government photo ID at all times.
• The official weight measurements of this event are in POUNDS. We offer a one-pound
allowance over your weight division. Athletes weigh in ONCE. If you make weight with the Gi, there is no need to make weight in No-Gi as long as you are in the same weight division on both, for, i.e., an athlete registered as lightweight in Gi must also be registered in No-Gi in the lightweight division.
• Competitors that don't make weight before the first match are automatically disqualified; we do not refund competitors' registrations that weighed over the limit of their category (However, we will allow 1lb tolerance). There are no last-minute changes. We can not alter brackets that have been published online already.
• Females are required to wear a rash guard or a sports bra. T-shirts under the GI for females are NOT allowed.
• Males competing in Gi can not wear rash-guard or groin protection.
• Athletes who place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in their division will receive a medal at the event. All the medals should be picked up at the event's podium.
• Any false information provided during registration, such as but not limited to DOB, Team Association, and Belt Ranking, may lead to immediate disqualification. Such actions are subject to suspension or even banishment from future GAMAN events.
COACHES
We only allow TWO coaches per team. Coaches must be brown or black belts.
SPECTATORS
The ticket price for spectators (12 and above) is $20. You can pay at the door.
